Marketing, PR and events — led with energy, done the way I'd want it done if I were you.
Strategy when a business needs a clearer story, delivery when it needs someone to actually make it happen.
Working out who you are and what you stand for before deciding how to say it – market positioning, tone of voice and the narrative that ties everything together.
Finding the words that make people care, then flexing the delivery for each audience while keeping the meaning consistent everywhere you show up.
Turning what you already know into articles, panels and content that build your credibility and reputation.
Building relationships with the journalists and outlets that matter to your industry, and pitching stories worth covering.
Media and PR support for individual talent as well as brands – press liaison, vetting opportunities, interview coaching and messaging prep, and protecting your time.
Press releases, articles, thought pieces, show notes – short or long form, tailored to the channel and audience.
Planning, sourcing, briefing and running campaigns that create lasting impact. UGC, video and campaign content that doesn't look like an ad.
From trade stands to sold-out shows, in person or livestreamed, planned and delivered from the first idea to the day itself. Drawing on real hands-on experience working on award-winning shows.
Hampers, outreach and creator relationships built on real audience trust.

Grew a community initiative into a purpose-led publishing house, including implementing a roadmap to publish 10 new titles, and curated a first-of-its-kind Hindu Women's Festival which had to pivot to online with only three weeks to go due to the second Covid-19 lockdown (full story below).
Co-built the editorial team for a British Indian digital magazine from the ground up, interviewing talent including Nina Wadia OBE, co-hosting the inaugural DiwaliFest, supporting weekly guest features from Lavina Mehta MBE and Councillor Reena Ranger OBE, and contributing original articles every week.
Hired to build the organisation's first marketing and communications function from the ground up, taking its Small Cells proposition to tier-one press (The Sun, ITN Business, UK Authority) and policy submissions that reached the UK Government's infrastructure strategy.

Whatever support I can give with the skills I have in PR, content, events, production — for organisations whose values I share.

The original plan was big… a first-of-its-kind in-person event at the High Commission of India, bringing together writers, thinkers and artists from across the UK for panels and keynote speeches, wrapped up nicely with a pop-up Bengali-fusion supper club delivered by chef Sohini Banerjee of Smoke and Lime… plus media lined up, special guests, and a camera crew to capture it properly. Then the second lockdown hit, and none of it could happen the way we'd planned.
So, we pivoted. We rebuilt the whole thing online in a matter of weeks, with next to no infrastructure and even less budget. I edited every single video by hand.
The conversations themselves were recorded ahead of time, but that's not really the point… what mattered was that people watched them together, live, at the same time, the way you'd watch an actual festival rather than stumble across a video months later. People commented, followed, shared, found their way into deeper conversations off the back of it. That's the bit that's genuinely hard to fake or manufacture. There was real momentum, building in real time.
We didn't shy away from anything either. Sex, the Kama Sutra, the role of men in all of this. Men were part of those conversations too. It felt cool and current to have these conversations, not serious and off-limits, which is exactly why it pulled in people from genuinely different walks of life. And the opportunity opened up ten-fold as suddenly the global diaspora could be equally involved as we were now online.
63 streamed events, 65 international speakers, over 1,300 people watched live, and we've had nearly 25k views since.
Pretty impressive for a volunteer-led event. We gave it a proper identity too; every strand of the programme had its own distinct brand colour, its own look. It felt like something people wanted to belong to. The momentum from the festival caught publisher HarperCollins' attention and the idea of a literary anthology 'Beyond the Bindi' was born, documenting the diaspora's take on India's indigenous wisdom on femininity and womanhood. From a handful of volunteers working with next to no budget, to international speakers and a publisher's attention — the entire global diaspora community had noticed.
See the festivalProduced this short film for George the Poet in collaboration with Brent Council, written by George and scored by Benbrick.
And producing it properly meant properly: locations, the film crew, props, models, local residents, council liaison, messaging, talent liaison and briefing, everyone's travel, and making sure the whole crew was fed.
It was a project that was very close to George's heart as it was filmed in his mother's house on the estate that he grew up on.
The film went on to be selected by Soul Film UK to feature on the British Film Institute's BFI Player.
Co-hosted with my close friend, Minash, this passion project features the honest conversations about life, work, family and friendship that most people only have at 1am.
Listen on Spotify Watch on YouTubeAfter almost twelve years building brands, campaigns and communications functions from the inside, I stepped back from corporate life this year to build something of my own.
Previous clients have described me as an energiser… someone who comes in, brings real passion to an idea and makes it happen, no matter how big the vision. I know now that I'm not built for turning the cog on a five-year plan. I crave hustle and high-impact work. Those short bursts of energy where follow-through actually matters. I like to execute, deliver the result and hand off cleanly.
In my spare time, I'm working towards the Chartered Institute of Marketing's Level 6 Extended Diploma, in AI Marketing, Commercial Intelligence and Business Strategy.
Currently taking on new projects — a campaign, a launch, an event, or a season of support behind a founder or team.
Work is priced either as a day rate or a fixed project quote, whichever fits. I keep a few days a month free too, for causes that matter to me.
Based in London, open to travel and international projects.
